Dry Herb Vaporizer FAQs

Buying and choosing

What is a dry herb vaporizer?

A device that heats ground flower with hot air or a heated surface, below the temperature at which it burns. You inhale vapor rather than smoke, which is lighter on the throat and produces far less odor.

Portable or desktop — which should I buy?

Buy portable if you want to vape away from home or need discretion. Buy desktop if you mostly vape indoors and want the densest, most consistent vapor with no battery limits.

Is a dry herb vape pen the same as an oil pen?

No. A dry herb vape pen has an oven sized for ground flower; an oil pen threads onto a cartridge. Loading oil into a flower oven will clog the screens.

What is the best beginner vaporizer?

A preset-temperature portable convection unit with a stainless oven, short heat-up and easy cleaning. Simplicity beats spec sheets for your first device.

Using your vaporizer

What temperature should I use?

Start near 350°F for flavor and step up toward 390°F through the session for density. Above 410°F you get big clouds but a harsher, toastier taste.

How finely should I grind?

Medium-fine and evenly ground. Too coarse leaves cool spots; too fine can pack the oven and choke airflow or pull particles into the airpath.

How much herb per session?

Fill the oven so it is packed but not crushed. Most portable ovens take 0.1g to 0.3g; small ovens can be filled with a concentrate pad or spacer when you want a lighter session.

Why does my vapor look thin?

Usually a loose pack, a temperature that is too low, or a clogged screen. Tamp lightly, raise the temperature 10 to 15 degrees, and clean the airpath.

Maintenance

How often should I clean it?

Brush the oven every few sessions. Soak the stem, screens and mouthpiece in isopropyl alcohol roughly every two weeks, then rinse with water and dry fully before use.

Can I use a water pipe with my vaporizer?

Yes, with the correct water pipe adapter for your device. Water filtration cools vapor noticeably and suits higher-temperature sessions.

Orders

Do you ship discreetly?

Always. Plain outer packaging with no product branding — see the shipping policy.

Can I return a vaporizer I have used?

Used devices cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, but faulty units are covered — see returns and warranty.
